Event Marketing 2023/2024. The Impact of Sustainable Development on the Meeting Industry.
This is the third edition of the report on the condition of the event industry, which we co-created in cooperation with MeetingPlanner, the IQS research house and several leading event agencies.
The survey respondents are convinced that event marketing is currently the third most frequently used tool in marketing communications, which means an increase of one position compared to the previous year. At the same time, over 80% of respondents declare they will use this tool in 2024. Also nearly 90% of people consider event marketing to be an effective tool, compared to 66% last year. What's more, all those using event marketing confirmed that they achieved at least one of their goals thanks to it, which confirms the effectiveness of this tool.
This year's edition additionally examines whether sustainable development already dictates the conditions for implementing events. What are the challenges and expectations of clients today, in an era of high interest but lack of ready-made solutions and procedures, and what do leading event agencies have at their disposal in terms of ESG, DEI and Accessibility?
